The Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC) within the Civil Society Strengthening Project (CSSP) funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) announces a grant competition for experienced non-governmental organizations (NGOs) throughout the Republic of Macedonia.

Grant proposals should be submitted to the ISC office by 17:00 hours local time, August 26, 2008 in the required format with all required attachments.

The Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC) seeks a Deputy Chief of Party to support the successful implementation of a USAID-funded civil society strengthening program in Kosovo.  The ideal candidate will be a citizen of Kosovo, with extensive relevant experience managing and implementing large civil society programs, including sub-grants and training programs, and proven ability to develop and maintain partnership relationships and to effectively manage a team in a fast-paced work environment.
